Saturn stations Direct🎉🎉🎉 as of 6:08am, September 6, 2018!  Om Sham Shanicharaya Namaha🙏🏼 Saturn has been transiting Mula Nakshatra (Galactic Center)  in the sign of Sagittarius since October 27, 2017.  Saturn takes roughly 2.5yrs to transit each zodiac sign and will stay here in Sagittarius until January 23, 2020.  In this particular transit Saturn will retrograde:

*April 18th 2018 to September 6th, 2018 

*April 30th 2019- September 18th, 2019

So two summers of Saturn Retrograde!  Saturn is the planet of Truth that represents all forms of delay and is the force of fate, a force that makes you experience your karmas whether you want to or not!  Shanidev (Saturn) is the Karmic Leveler.  Vimalananda says “As long as you are unable to control your own nature, you are at Saturn’s mercy.  If you completely conquer what comes naturally to you, Saturn can have no effect on you.  You should know what Saturn has laid out for you and arrange your life accordingly if you want to live happily and peacefully!”  Meaning… you should know where Saturn is situated in your chart to live happily and peacefully! Wherever Shanidev is situated in the Birth Chart is where we need to learn.  

This particular transit is being felt mostly by those with a Sagittarius Moon or those running Saturn Dasha.  Those of us with a Sagittarius Moon are in the seven and a half year cycle, the much feared Sade Sati, at the moment.  This cycle started on November 3, 2014 but is most intense when Saturn is within 10 degrees of the natal moon.  This can bring difficulty, delay, disappointment etc.  There are Upaya’s (remedial measures) for this like Mantra and ritual depending on your chart. 

This summer has been one big delay and disappointment and if you received Shanidev’s grace you’ve surrendered and felt some short periods of relief! 

Mula Nakshatra is located in the constellation of Sagittarius, and Galactic Center.  Mula means “root” and is ruled by the Goddess Niritti, a manifestation of Kali.  This Nakshatra’s Shakti has the power to ruin or destroy.  It shows the destruction necessary to proceed with a new creation.  With Saturn Retrograde in this lunar mansion we may have felt unable to get to the “root” or bottom of things or an inability to experience the death of something in our lives in order to create something new.  I don’t know about you but I have felt this “inability to move forward” with road blocks and difficulties and this swirl into the depths of my inner nature, karmas and current situations…the ROOT of everything!  This Direct motion of Saturn may feel like a rebirth or the birth of the new you or new project that has been hanging in the ethers.  It’s a big deal!!!  No planets are retrograde at the moment, full direct motion... and I am feeling a sense of accomplishment for getting through this summer, lol!
